Mon nouveau vélo / My new bike

Mon ancien vélo s'est effondré ( enfin, disons que les pédales ne fonctionnent plus de trop) alors voilà la belle bête que j'ai achetée chez JPS Cycles LTD (http://www.thomsonlocal.com/JPS-Cycles-Ltd/0305058513502347000/map/companyinfo.html) 

J'en profite pour faire leur PUB car c'est un petit magasin de vélo indépendant et le patron était le meilleur marchand du monde. Souriant, patient appliquant à la lettre,  le dictons " Le client est roi". En effet, celui-ci après m'avoir montré ses quelques vélos, m'a fait un prix de 155£ pour celui-ci ( ce qui est un excellent rapport qualité prix quand on voit les vélos pourris de seconde main que certains marchands essaient de revendre pour à peine moins cher). Quand j'ai dis que je le prenais le lendemain, il m'a promis de le monter le jour même. Quand je suis arrivée à 5pm, il n'avait pas encore eu le temps de le monter entièrement alors, il m'a dit qu'il allait me le livrer à domicile en soirée et que je l'aurais bien comme promis. Et bien figurez-vous qu'il est venu m'apporter en personne le vélo à 8pm, qu'il m'a encore ajusté la selle et offert un panier pour le dérangement. J'étais un peu gênée mais aussi plus qu'agréablement surprise de voir que les vrais petits commerçants existent encore et qu'il y a encore des personnes de parole à notre époque, dans cette société où les contacts humains passent généralement  (et malheureusement) à la trappe. 

My previous bike collapsed ( the pedals didn't work anymore) then I bought a new one at a little bikeshop that I recomand you : Jps Cycles Ltd (http://www.thomsonlocal.com/JPS-Cycles-Ltd/0305058513502347000/map/companyinfo.html) . 

The boss of the shop was really great. He explained me everything, was very motivated and motivating,... he was really a good vendor. Finally he showed me a bike not assembled yet and gave me a price of 155£ for this bike. It's a good price for the quality of this bike especially if I compare this bike with the old awfull bikes that the second-hand-shops try to sell. When I told to the vendor (the day after) that I planed to buy the bike, he promised me to assemble the bike for the same day. When I arrived at 5pm, the poor man didn't have the time to assemble it completely ( he seemed to have a million thinks to do in the same time) and he was very ambarassed then he promised me to bring the bike in my place, later, in the evening. I was a bit esthonished but he absolutely wanted to bring me the bike. Indeed, he came to my place at 8pm with the bike assembled and additionaly he offered me a basket to apologize for the delay. So, it's me who became a bit amarassed ! I never met such a couragous vendor. I'm really happy to see that the little vendors still exist in our society where the human contact tend to disappear. 

So I insist for the people who are living in Cambridge,  if you need a new bike take a look at Jps Cycles LTD !
